i tend to connect with contemporary kurosawa much more than his samurai movies, but all of them are top tier. i’d watch it if you’re interested in getting into that stuff/already are or are into anime. it’s insanely influential. if you don’t like underwhelming fight scenes (by today’s standards, i still love them and the strategy of it) or deconstructing it, i wouldn’t watch
