Fun fact! There’s a reason why Ben Burtt, the sound designer for Star Wars and the Indy trilogy, was the one who started it as a joke. He found it on a random tape in the sound effects library and decided it’d be funny to sneak it in because of how silly it sounds. It became an inside joke among him and his fellow sound engineer friends to see who could sneak it into the films they were working on. You’ll notice it’s become quieter and quieter over the years to hide it more and more
