This is gonna be a hot take but you don’t really need to see Martin Scorsese movies. A lot of them are okay at best and they’re only really worth watching if you want to see the stuff that inspired better directors.
I heard that one sucks lol. It looks really bad. If I think Goodfellas The Irishman Taxi Driver and Mean Streets are mid, why should I watch a random Scorsese movie no one talks about and is rated lower than the ones I think are kinda trash?

whoever told you it sucks is wrong it’s so incredible! also check out king of comedy, age of innocence, and bringing out the dead. the way you view these movies is lame as fuck tho “why would i watch a random scorsese movie” because he’s one of the goats duh

Well, you’re certainly entitled to your opinion. He’s definitely a skilled director, but I don’t like his movies. Martin reads as an ignorant, misguided boomer with a warped perfection of his own culture, and lack of culture. To me, he’s the definition of pretentiousness.
