I heard that one sucks lol. It looks really bad. If I think Goodfellas The Irishman Taxi Driver and Mean Streets are mid, why should I watch a random Scorsese movie no one talks about and is rated lower than the ones I think are kinda trash?

Well, you’re certainly entitled to your opinion. He’s definitely a skilled director, but I don’t like his movies. Martin reads as an ignorant, misguided boomer with a warped perfection of his own culture, and lack of culture. To me, he’s the definition of pretentiousness.

i can confirm after hours is really fucking good. my favorite scorsese. one that you can feel the joy coming from behind the camera
