its definitely not a terrible movie, i just don’t really understand the hype around it or people saying its like their fav movie oat i also watched it under the false pretense of my friend saying it was similar to se7en (still don’t understand why they said this), so my disappointment might be a little biased ._.

inception is okay, memento and tenet are really good, and oppenheimer is great. i really don’t like any of his other movies. still need to see following and insomnia tho.

I don’t think that should affect how you feel about the movie. Like if your takeaway is “It was good, but not as good as everyone says” that last part doesn’t tell me anything. It’s just unnecessary disappointment over a movie you still liked.
