it feels like greta gerwig is speaking directly to the audience. i think they’re both so talented and i personally loved it, felt very moved. why didn’t you like it? was it out of place or was her delivery off or something?

it was just kind of redundant and sets up “being a woman” as some sort of discovery. Yeah, it sucks ass and we wish it didn’t suck ass and the fact that that monologue was like only put in there for men watching to somewhat get the point because they made it so goddamn simple. Also yeah the delivery was kind of cringe
