Only reason you can call it weak is because it was in a different language. I mean F1 and Bugonia were on that list. Sentimental Value was not weak.

that’s absolutely not the case lol. i love foreign films. again, it was one of my least favorites of the international films nominated and there were plenty others that didn’t get nominated that should have. i don’t rly mind it getting a best picture nom because again, it just wasn’t my thing, but the fact that it was just an accident didn’t get nominated when bugonia and frankenstein did is just ridiculous
