Because the internet told you too? Or because his movie wasn’t a 1 to 1 of a 40 year old movie starring a bunch of dead people? Or is it because he didn’t make movies filled with jokes every 3 minutes that border on comedy, quips being thrown around like Oprah throws money, fart jokes, pop songs, pop culture references, random cameos, heavy reliance on the word “shit”, and super hot and anthemic anti-heros?
Um no, because I didn't enjoy his take on the DC universe. It went against a lot of the comics. Batman using guns, Superman killing like Superman would never kill anyone even a villain. His Wonder Woman was fine but im not a big fan of Gal Gadot. The best thing he did was probably Aquaman (if that was him). I think Snyder would do great with a more darker edgy franchise, DC just doesn't fit him. He took it too seriously.
Yet your two biggest gripes, like everyone’s is still not against the comics. Superman would kill a villain if necessary, even James Gunn said that. Superman does not have a no kill rule. Batman only uses guns in a the nightmare dystopia visions where all codes are thrown out the window because the world has ended
