Palpatine was known to disguise his true appearance when appearing in public as well sometimes so he’d just look the same as he did pre revenge of the sith

I mean it is canon that the Empire doesn’t know about the whole Sith thing, like most people think Darth Vader straight up doesn’t exist until he pulls up on their block and still think of Palpatine as just some dude from Naboo lmao

That’s true but I think it’s a bit unnecessary. With all of the different alien races in the Star Wars universe why would anyone bat an eye at a wrinkly pale guy

I get that he masks the Sith eyes but he showed off the wrinkles in ROTS for the whole “the Jedi attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed” speech where he became Emperor

Yeah but I still don’t get why he has to hide the sith eyes, the race from utapau has a similar thing going on. Would anyone really be like oh yup those are definitely sith eyes?

Yeah but since not many people know much about sith and humans can crossbreed with other species it just doesn’t seem like it would raise any red flags. I know it’s a silly thing for me to nitpick but in the Star Wars universe people have even more cosmetic accessories and markings than we do, especially on coruscant where palpatine spent much of his career
