Y’all are tryna roast me for this but there’s no way these movies y’all talk about are actually any good 😭 Like you can’t get me to watch a french film that isn’t La Haine when they’re all just “Cigarettes! Pain! Politic! Cinema! Fin.” for three hours 🤣✌️

what’s actually pretentious is closing your heart and mind to movies as an art form and flatly dismissing films which you have admitted to literally never having watched bc your head is 2 far up your own ass to be capable of forming a real thought about or focusing on something which requires more depth of engagement than a cocomelon video 😁
