If a movie is at 7:45, I’m comfortable getting to my seat any time before 8:05 knowing the movie won’t have started

When I saw F1 the other day the trailers were “only” 30 minutes and I was excited about it. This world is so fucked

I’ll be honest, I always saw the previews as the movie theater experience. Idk why I enjoy them so much. It’s cool to see a preview of a new movie I didn’t know that was getting made and hearing people whisper “that’s cool” or “I want to see that”. It’s like a cool preshow before them film I guess

Usually they’re 22 minutes at my theater but last night at the Sunday 6PM for F1 they were 35 minutes. Ridiculous

AMC says expect 20-30 minutes of trailer so I just get in my seat 18 minutes after the “start” time and only like two trailer remain usually
