Same with taking Mike’s shtick as the historian and giving it to Ben. Like, Mike is the one that has familial ties to Derry and he’s the only one who ends up staying there into his adulthood

I finished it, why did they make Richie and Eddie gay? Or at least Richie?? I never read the book, but I don’t think I remember that from the original. Also would’ve made more sense if it was Richie and Stanley, they stayed together when the rest of the group split up in the first one. Right??

Yeah! I didn’t really think about that one, but it just made more sense if he was still the historian
