there are so many timeless silent films because they were made by people who utilized their limitations to the fullest. i don’t think chaplin will waste your time at all.
I wouldn’t say I refuse to watch Charlie Chaplin movies, but I’m really not interested in seeing them. I feel like since the filmmaking is so outdated the movies won’t be very worthwhile.
