Agememnon was a dork. This might actually be in contention for the best casting of all time. I don't watch movies though, so I wouldn't know.

Was it just me or were they cinematographically bending over backwards to avoid showing his face in the movie? Is there a specific reason why?

Why did they cast Elliot page as a guy?

I personally would’ve love all Greek actors for a film about Greek mythology story. But what do I know?

Looking at bro makes me want to sing the uncensored lyrics to “they don’t care about us.”

Bro used the word cinematographically but doesn’t understand that they didn’t show the dorks face because they didn’t want the character to look like a dork Literally just aura is the reason

Well that was my guess but I wasn’t sure if there was a reason specific to the source material vs. artistic license…

The source material is an oral poem. They wouldn’t have shown his face in the OG Odyssey either Agamemnon is barely a character in the Odyssey, he’s much more relevant in the Iliad. Using him to aura farm but not giving him any actual character is both intentional and accurate to the Odyssey
