Just rewatched green book for class. It’s definitely a little problematic and I don’t think it should’ve won best picture. At the same time, the script structure, the cinematography, and the acting is so strong that I can see why it did

It’s just a little white savior-y. Focuses more on Lip saving the black guy instead of a major point of contention being a black guy in the south being inhibited everyone else instead of just his music
