Musicals on Yik Yak | In the end I’m glad Proshots are successful in the theaters. Hopefully that’ll mean more will be filmed and released. But there’s a little part of me that’s happy Hadestown beat Hamilton. And I love Hamilton, but Hadestown (the film) was leagues better.

I kind of prefer the way Hamilton was filmed over Hadestown honestly. I saw Hadestown on broadway a few years ago, and I absolutely loved it. It was gorgeous. And they did a great job of capturing that in the pro shot too, but there’s so much happening on stage. I felt like you couldn’t see that as well in the pro shot for Hadestown because they kept doing closeups and kept staying focused on one character
