Crazy man. Paolo and Franz got injured. They made a push and were a shooter away from making noise. The Bane signing is guaranteed production from deep, what KCP was supposed to be. Orlando will be in the playoffs next season.

Picks for a player is no offset in cap. Orlando had money to spend which made the Bane move feasible. Like I said he has a crazy contract. This is probably the only significant move Orlando makes this off season.

Cole Anthony is only making $13 mil a year while KCP is getting paid $22 mil a year for a guy averaging 9 points 2 rebounds and 2 assists Also Brian Windhorst was the main one so far to reason that the KCP contract was the main reason that price was so hefty with picks where you may not have even needed 2 firsts to get Bane to getting 4 picks. Also just look anywhere most people call KCP’s contract a shit contract

He’s an elite perimeter defender who, despite having his worst three point shooting season since 2019, dropped league average true shooting and will likely return to form this year. He doesn’t turn the ball over and has been a part of two chips. Neither team looked better after dumping him. This is not a coincidence

Des isn’t worth four 1sts on his own, but these deals come with a tax because they’re done during the offseason and there are presumably many more potential suitors. He’s a 27 year old pure shooter getting traded to a contender to whom the picks are basically worthless. That’s why they pay a premium, not KCP
