Jordan best at winning, Lebron best at dominating, Kobe best mentality, let’s not get ahead of ourselves

24/8/8 and 2nd team All-NBA at the age of 40? We being deadass?

statpadding while being useless on defense, meanwhile asking for all the praise for playing as a fossil and none of the criticism when he gets bounced because he's a fossil

only thing he has going for him is longevity, and even with that extra time he still can't get close to catching the guy he's been chasing his whole career

Yep, LeBron’s the greatest at longevity. What’s Kobe the greatest at? I’ll wait. And no, dying doesn’t count. 🚁

actually winning, leringchaser couldn't dream of 5 home-grown championships(even tho he's got nightmares of someone with 6 at his big age). softass fraud who's made a media push to be seen as the goat because the actual GOATs did too much on the court for him to compete

Again, he’s fucking 40. Even being a bad defender, how many guys have been even close to this good at this age? It’s none.

You don’t think there’s a little bit of context to be added there? Maybe how Lebron had absolutely zero help during his entire first stint with Cleveland, while Kobe got drafted to a team with fucking Shaquille O’Neal in his prime? You can’t be the goat when you were the 2nd best player on 3 of your 5 rings. Not even the goat of his own career.

and again he wants no responsibility and all credit for playing as an old man, maybe if he was good enough to win in his prime like the actual GOATs he wouldn't need to beat his own dead horse now. still a fraud, still ran to make superteams and lost more than he won when it mattered, still not better than MJ or Kobe.

35 years old for his last finals MVP, 2nd oldest finals MVP ever. You’re hating just to hate

Bill Russell is the best at winning

knew there’d be a dh to say this, bill russell played when there was 8-11 teams in the entire league, he doesn’t win 11 championships playing after 1980

So Bill Russell’s wins don’t count because he played in an easier era, but Jordan’s do when he played in an easier era than the modern day?

the wins count, but the wins have less weight because the league was cut by more than half, also defensively the league was better in jordan’s era than the modern era, jordan and bron would win 15 straight finals in bills era

the league wasn’t better defensively in Jordan’s era. Offense is just so much better now that it’s harder to play defense. Tell a 90s defense to handle Steph Curry and watch their minds melt. A lot easier to be a good defense when the NBA literally didn’t even realize that 3 pointers were good.

i think you underestimate the importance of the hand check, players get hand checked now and flail their arms into a bad shot for some free throws, plus outside of jordan players didn’t really get that superstar treatment of calls, everything’s a foul if you’re within breathing distance of lebron, tatum, luka, sga, jokic

I still don’t think that makes up for how much easier it was to defend when 3 pointers basically weren’t a factor. You have to cover sooo much less space and crowding the paint was way easier to justify. Again, put Steph against a 90s defense and he averages 50

Kobe isn’t even close to the greatest at winning. He’s 14th in rings. 🗑️ Face it, other than dying he was the best at literally nothing.

Mentality can’t be measured. That’s just something Kobecels came up with when they realized he wasn’t particularly good at anything.

8-11 teams means every team has great rosters. Jordan played where the best talent was spread out thinly among 28 teams, many of which were brand new. He honestly probably wins fewer rings in the 60s when teams were far more stacked.
