Statistics? You do know that the pace of the game has dramatically increased right? Had Shaq been in this era you think anybody would’ve been able to stop him? Ben Wallace, Hakeem, mutumbo, Robinson and even Garnett or Duncan would be able to stop Jokic’s gameplay. Statistics is the last thing anyone should use to gauge Shaq

Nobody “stops” Jokic either that’s why his teams offenses explode in the playoffs. Shaq was unstoppable physically but Jokic is unstoppable intellectually. Different eras and different types of dominance, but dismissing stats entirely is just nostalgia

? You know Jokic’s stats take a significant decline playing against Joel embiid right? His win percentage is in the dumps when he faces embiid, his efficiency drops and his turnovers increase. And people love acting like he’s got AD’s number but in reality, Davis as always been successful facing him except after the conf finals. So if he can’t do it with embiid, ain’t no way he gonna do well against the others on the list and a 7’1 300 pound demigod with Wide receiver speed and incredible deff

also just for the sake of the argument jokic is way better than shaq offensivly and it’s not close shaq only has accolades on jokic so far but by the end of his career he might over accolade shaq…. Shaq couldn’t shoot like jokic shaq couldn’t pass like jokic shaq didn’t lead like jokic there’s really not much going for shaqs argument ngl 😂😂😂

I mean I think shaq is still better but I ain taking jokic slander tbh. Shaq is the most unstoppable force in nba history and he’s he 4th best player oat for me. Jokic is sneaking into top 10 especially with another mvp but he has 1 ring regardless of his team. If he wants to win he will have to leave like bron or something because the west is too stacked and the thunder as a team completely counter his team
