Ahhh yes, the league is pushing the smallest market team in the country as opposed to idk.. the literal Los Angeles fucking Lakers one of the biggest sports brands in the world. The league has too much profit to gain from the Lakers winning basketball games. Why do you think Luka ended up there in the consensus worst trade of all time, they have the best free throw differential each of the past five years, and have shot in 1000 more free throws than the #2 team in that time.
