I used to be on the Wilt probably scored 100 points side, but I just did the math and the odds of him making at least 28 of his 32 FTs that he made that game is 0.1% so I’m starting to cast doubt.
This is assuming independence. Don’t know if that’s necessarily true on free throws

Yea they proved making one shot in the nba makes someone more likely to make the next shot that’s the same type, but a 60% FT shooter hitting 28/32 is still a bit wild

Totally agree, just think the actual probability is (slightly) higher than 0.1%
