MVP is a regular season award. This clearly factors in the playoffs too

I actually agree wit this steph has to be over bron even in the playoff curry wasn’t trash but he wasn’t the best, but taking account of the whole season 73-9 like cmon he’s def number 1

Unanimous MVP is the greatest individual accomplishment in NBA history, no ring puts anybody over Steph that year. If a ring matters that much put Tatum at 1, ur logic is cherry picked and inconsistent

The greatest accomplishment in the NBA is a ring. Especially one down 3-1 against a 73 win team in one of the greatest finals series from a single player ever.

So put Tatum at 1 as well. If a ring is so important to you every single player at 1 should be the best player on the team that wins the championship. Again, you’re being inconsistent.

How about regular season + playoff stats. Tatum was great in 24 but he wasn’t the best player in the playoffs was he? How is that inconsistent

Steph had the greatest regular season of all time + a dominant playoff run up until the finals. Ur cherry picking. Steph was by far the best player in the nba that year

Ok well I disagree because yes Steph was great im not saying he wasn’t. But LeBron had possibly the greatest finals performance ever? Plus a dominant regular season? Like if you think Steph is better then great but to say by far is just wrong

And Luka won neither the MVP or the finals that year, how could you possibly have him at one. Be consistent.

NO ONE GOT A SINGLE VOTE FOR MVP BUT HIM HE WAS THE BEST

He was the leagues leading scorer and led the playoffs in points, rebounds and assists tf you mean how can be #1?

REGULAR. SEASON. I’m factoring both regular season and playoffs not just regular season

Yeah regular season + playoffs. Steph was unanimous MVP in the regular season and dominated the playoffs until the Finals. Luka didn’t win MVP and also lost in the Finals. How are you this consistent at being inconsistent.

He choked in the finals when they needed him most. Bron flourished in the same series

being clutch doesn’t make you a better player curry was the man on that juggernaut team who went through some good ass teams to get to the finals compared to bron who had an weak east tho curry didn’t play great in the finals he was the best player that year

So I explain multiple times why I believe LeBron is #1 and why I have Luka at #1 in 2024 and you still aren’t getting it. I really don’t care about the unanimous aspect of it I don’t. Like it’s cool but I don’t think that means it’s set in stone I have to put Curry at 1 when by the end of the playoffs LeBron kinda proved he was the best player in the world. And in 2024 Luka may not have won MVP or the finals but he probably should’ve won MVP and he led his team to the finals with great stats

Probably should’ve won MVP? You can’t build a ranking system around what you think should have happened 😭 Steph actually won it. Unanimously. And by your own logic LeBron ‘kinda proved’ he was best but Luka literally proved nothing, he lost. You’ve used rings, regular season, playoffs, ‘probably should’ve won MVP,’ and now ‘different circumstances’ all in the same argument. You’re making it up as you go lol
