I’ll watch a couple videos of his and see if I think he’d be a good fit to cover the history of a still-operating spiritualist cult that’s local to my area the other two are a little trickier—one of them should only be covered by someone with a deep firsthand familiarity with physical disability & chronic pain, I don’t trust anyone else to accurately communicate the nuances or the extent of the harm done or just how normalized the malpractice is

and I’m worried about whether it’s even possible to be sure the family of the victim would go unharmed by renewed interest in what was done to the woman who died (almost certainly murdered and/or abused) in my old neighborhood. tbh for years now I’ve been conflicted on the ethical implications of drawing attention to that one the first one though, the cult, I’ll think about it for sure

ah makes sense! yeah he does make an effort to make sure he’s properly informed and will not cover a case if someone near it asks him not to afaik, but i understand needing a person who can relate in a specific way!
