Same, but for fixing or modifying things. I’ve thought “just do this, it’ll take 10 minutes” so many times before realizing that most people don’t have power tools or the random bits of hardware my dad does

But even if it takes me weeks to learn how and then actually do it, I would rather make the majority of things myself rather than buy them, simply bc buying them is so expensive and making them is often wayyyyy cheaper
