I don’t think I have OCD but DEAR GOD my brain needs to stfu and stop telling me that one day I will die and that I’m wasting my life and that one day my parents won’t be here anymore and that there’s no heaven or hell just NOTHING and I become NOTHING

All that is basically what I believe except that I don’t think I’m wasting my life. It just is what it is and it’s sort of freeing. Making my own purpose babey

I have OCD and when I get intrusive thoughts that I can’t shake, I do grounding exercises. this one is pretty common and ik seems silly but it really works. It might be hard to convince yourself to try it since it seems like it won’t do anything, but I promise it will help. my mom used to have to force me to do it bc I was always convinced it wouldn’t do anything. but after being proven wrong enough times, i just trust the process now lol

it’s sad that people will die, but the worldview doesn’t require me to be Perfect ™️ or Believe the Right Things anymore, and my religious ocd chilled out so much.

I’ve used it quite a few times myself, and you can also just do 5-4-3 if the last 2 give you issues.
