I kinda felt a similar vibe—took Ritalin for the first time and was like OMG IT’S SO QUIET…”normal” is like 3 overlapping playlists on shuffle, and medicated is like one ordered album playing quietly

Except of course until you meet the hyperfocus and next you know 8 hours has gone by and now you’re exhausted and hangry… but it only felt like 5 min. Not that I’ve experienced that or anything….

Or the calmness of thoughts In my brain but slowly and relaxing kinda… (I’ve taken naps while I wait for the meds to kick in, and it’s so peaceful)
