Find a different psychologist, preferably one that specializes in autism or other neurodivergence.

Yeah, they are to be avoided. I’d even see about contacting their employer or certifying board and complaining.

I’m so sorry you dealt with this! During my autism testing the guy had to kick my mom out of the room because she kept acting like I was completely neurotypical 😅 After she left and he actually got to test me I asked him and he said “well I shouldn’t tell you, your counselor should; but yeah buddy” then they LOST MY RESULTS 🫠 So the only “official” diagnosis I have is from my current counselor who in our FIRST MEETING said “well, yeah it’s kind of obvious” when I asked her if she thought I was 😂

BULLSHIT!! sorry u had to go thru that! no one has the right to tell you why YOU chose to seek out a diagnosis, and if she had any sense, she’d realize that people who watch a few tiktoks and do no further research rarely attempt to seek out a proper diagnosis!

That’s the wrong psychologist. When I had my testing it was a neuropsychologist and all she did was test me.
