I also like to imagine that ND people don't stick out as much, or at least would find it easier to get accommodations given the differences in species and worlds that would have to be breached so often on the daily. like jedi masters who zoom call into the meetings still have their custom chairs in the room so the concept of accommodating people for personal reasons should at least be not foreign to most

okay but actually I'd imagine mental illness is generally more treatable given what we see regarding most medical technology at the time. it'd feel odd even in-universe to have the technology to replace hands like lego pieces & order thousands of clones, but have never looked into mental health despite your most respected denizens being space wizards who talk about the importance of mastering the mind and emotions all the time
