every time psychosis is mentioned it's as if nobody in the room could possible have experienced it. news flash! almost everyone will experience psychosis once in their lives!! news flash!! those living with psychosis every day are living and breathing and feeling and listening to you shun them from your ""activism""!! news flash!!! psychotic doesn't mean violent or antisocial, and while I'm at it, antisocial ≠ violent and antisocial ≠ asocial, And while I'm at it

nobody bothers to educate themselves on any of this before they try to "stop the stigma". even the psychology professor can't bring herself to say the Psychiatric part of our Counseling and Psychiatric services. all of this is performative.

I feel like the professor may just be using verbal shorthand by saying “counseling services” and being informal
