I’m so grateful my partner and friends now aren’t like this, but I used to have friends like that where I would just never commit to anything big unless it was last minute, because they’d always cancel. i’m still mad. i try to be chill and agreeable so they don’t think im annoying, they offer to pick me up, i say yes, they pick me up late and we miss the thing i flew 2000 miles to see. i decide im never making that mistake again, so i double check, i plan down to where im putting my bag, i confirm that they are okay with this, i confirm the date, they make plans to go with someone else because they didn’t think i wanted to go lmao??????
