 Health insurance company denied my application for insurance bc they have a 12 month no issue policy or something. My one and only medical issue was a fracture i had surgery on 11.5 months ago. But bc its not 12 months they denied me. I just want therapy

Like i kinda get the corporate greed aspect of not wanting to cover someone with a recent illness cause it could come back. But its a fracture bro. Its not coming back. And ive never had anything else wrong. I just want to be able to afford therapy this is so lame. And like it was only a half month away. They denied me on August 4th and my surgery was on like August 27 last year. Like be so fr

Huh yeah i just looked it up youre right. But there is a thing about a 12 month exclusion period. So in my case a new insurance policy wouldnt be obligated to help with anything related to my injury bc its within 12 months. But theyre not allowed to just deny me for that. Theyre only allowed to deny that individual claim
