*best friend since middle school. He was talking about how he found people with autism and Asperger’s annoying, so I sorta tested him by replying with “You probably wouldn’t like my girlfriend” (he knows that she’s autistic), to which he said “Yeah… I think it’s just the annoying or non-endearing ones that I don’t like”, which is an obvious can of worms that I’ll probably have to open up

He’s talking about people that don’t mask well and therefor don’t fit his idea of a “normal” person. I’m fairly sure I’m a higher functioning autistic person, and will admit even I do get annoyed by those people sometimes. But I just do my best to have patience and respect them like I would any other person. As we all should.
