Embroidery!! It does take basic sewing knowledge (easy starter tutorials on YouTube and Pinterest (esp the latter for learning specific embroidery stitches but I’ve not gotten that far yet)) but the wooden hoop was like $3 from Walmart, a good amount of 100% cotton fabric for like $5, and so many colors of floss/thread for 57¢ each!!! I like to find straight line geometric designs on Pinterest, trace them on the fabric, then just outline or color things in!!

Cross-stitcher here, it really is such a life changer to have something to do with my hands that gives me a cute finished product
