I felt the same for years. Then I learned that rhinitis and nasal swelling every single day wasn’t normal, and other people can actually breathe through their noses. I started using a nasal spray, neti pot, Zyrtec, and a steroid solution because I had really bad allergies, but the constant fatigue went on for 8 years. Turned out I also had untreated sleep apnea. And on top of that I already have a hard time focusing and executive functioning issues.

I’m sorry, love- this unfortunately sounds like depression 😔 Seek professional mental health support if you can (maybe by simply calling ur general care physician and letting them know you may be depressed), and reach out to a friend or family member if u can and tell them how u are doing— I just came out of a depressive episode myself and I promise that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It doesn’t last forever, my love. Wishing you so much love and support ❤️

I did. I wish I could’ve got it done at the hospital or at a lab, but my insurance didn’t cover it, so I had to take home a machine. The disadvantage of that was they couldn’t hook me up to a CPAP machine during that night, so I didn’t find out that CPAP didn’t work on me until I got one months later and it didn’t work. And then I had to wait even longer to get a custom made oral appliance (like a mouthguard) from an oral surgeon to use instead.

Also before I even got the sleep test I had to wait months for an appointment with a sleep doctor. So in total I waited more than a year to actually get treatment for the sleep apnea. I wanted to immigrate to Canada, but then I heard that their healthcare system has even longer wait times, and it already sucks here.
