If it’s anything like what I’ve experienced (mainly violent urges as a result of “fight”trauma response), working out/physical exertion can help. It releases some of the pent up energy in a more safe way, and it could help release endorphins, which have a calming effect. I haven’t had a chance to try it, but I feel like boxing/martial arts could be good as well bc it lets you fight without hurting anyone. Pls try to stay safe 🫶
