You’re a such a nice person for worrying about how it’ll affect the other employees, but in the end you have to do what’s best for you. You can’t let taking care of others get in the way of taking care of yourself. Theyll figure it out without you, I promise 💛

i called out once bc of an emergency. got back the next day and my manager was like sorry there’s a lot going on today it’s kind of a mess and i apologized as a formality for not being there the day before. expecting her to be like “omg girl its not your fault” and instead she just kinda grimaced. what the fuck do i do

Even small businesses can have bad bosses. If it’s a one-time thing coming from your manager then maybe they had a bad day, but if they’re grumpy like that all the time you should move on and keep your sanity

idk i get it, it sucks when people call out and i don’t think she realized why i had to cuz i’d just sent a very vague text to my other boss. so she was right to be annoyed i would have been too😭
