Why can’t I have math autism??? Where can I return my “can guess the ending to every crime show” autism and get something useful???

Ok but lowkey this is math autism. Your brain just uses the math to figure out the formula crime shows use to write the story instead of multiplying large numbers. Much better use of math imo

I thought about it actually for a while, but I’m more a fan of crime shows from like a media standpoint. I like figuring out who did it based on things like camera angles, how long each person speaks in an episode, etc

I don’t think either of you understand math… Problem solving or prediction are both useful skills but neither is math knowledge or skill. Which is OK!! But that’s like saying “yeah, I’m great at sports, if reading is a sport”.

Hey, if it helps, I have STEM (computational biology) autism and I think I’m still going to be out of a job unless I’m willing to spend 6 more years getting a PhD. But the world needs film and anthropology more, and I’m not even joking. I love what you do.
