IK a lot of ND people struggle with success in life, often times because of how hard it is to live with these conditions… but is anyone else “successful” in a traditional sense but can’t feel good about themselves due to being neurodivergent?
I am pretty successful - enjoyable job with a fine salary and I help at-risk kids. Still feel horrible about myself and my life all the time. It just be like that sometimes.

I don't know if this will help. But the book "Healing the Shame that Binds You" is a pretty good read. Being disabled in a world like this is traumatic for a lot of people and can lead to self hatred

it’s definitely the lack of skills in foundational emotional regulation - a lot of the negative thoughts i have in this area stem from insecurity and self hatred that allllll goes back to my inability to regulate emotions. tuff 🥀
