YES! i’m not diagnosed, but i can tell im on the spectrum, it’s been obvious since childhood, but my family doesn’t believe in this. luckily i had a teacher that accommodated for me and gave me a pair of headphones. i even peed myself daily from k-3 bc i was scared to go to the br alone in case the alarm went off. teachers wouldn’t let me bring a buddy so, i wore diapers

SAME!! My parents keep getting surprised at my hypersensitivity (it’s been worse for well over a decade so idk why they’re so surprised) and they think I’m being a baby when I say I need headphones or accommodations! I hate being functioning just enough that nobody actually gives af …like no your child having a whole panic attack over a fire alarm isn’t normal
