universities be like: “we care about your mental health!” and then give you a mountain of busywork and put you on a four week therapy waiting list.

Thus demonstrate the rigidity of college that destroys people’s mental health.

If you can’t handle the work load that everyone tells you comes with college maybe you’re not cut out for college

it’s not the workload that bothers me really, it’s the being on hold.

I have, nearly everyone has. The difference is you feel like the world owes you something for being kinda depressed. College is difficult. They don’t, or shouldn’t, just hand out majors depending on how sad you are. You should expect this and if you can’t handle it maybe that’s on you

Literally extremely easy to get insurance approval for counseling or to get prescribed antidepressants if that’s really what you think you need. You literally just want to blame something for sucking at school. “Mental health access” is practically free

1. it’s not, i don’t have access to my own insurance information and i don’t want to work with my parents with therapy for privacy reasons 2. i don’t want anti depressants dumbass, i want THERAPY 3. i’m still on pace for a 3.5 gpa based on my current grades

If you're that depressed why not just take a leave of absence or drop out instead of complaining

people with disabilities are just as deserving of education, and OP is allowed to complain (in a neurodivergent page mind you) without you telling them they should give up
