Just had an interview and the whole I time I thought to myself “I know I’m supposed to lie, but I don’t know which parts I’m supposed to lie about”

Lie about details, not experience. Don’t make up jobs that you didn’t do, but you can fabricate stories about those jobs that showcase different skills you want them to see. You can also fabricate the duties of your job to make you seem more important. Whatever you lie about should be something they can’t reasonably verify & something that you’ll be able to stick with

Like obviously don’t tell them you speak five languages if you don’t. But for example you can make up an experience you had navigating a customer who spoke no english and showcase your problem solving skills. They’re expecting you to embellish but keep it realistic too.

But like what do I say for “how do my friends describe me? What are your weaknesses?”
