I love it when I’m depressed for no reason and it makes it hard to accomplish things I need to😀👍

Tips you didn’t ask for but here ya go: - maybe try dictating your response as speech to text (just be sure to proofread after!!) - if you have a friend who’s not judgmental, you could ask them to come over and body double while you each get some challenging tasks done with moral support

It really does😭 I have a lot of resistance to checking my email and writing them usually but now it’s especially bad.

Thanks! I don’t have anyone to body double with sadly that one would definitely work if I did though. And I might try the dictation thing. So far I have just been writing it in small bursts when I get the energy. And just distracting myself the rest of the time. It works alright and the more I do it the less resistance there is but lord it’s difficult. I honestly gotta go back and read the previous email again too so I know what to write🫠

Yea maybe! That might be a good idea frankly. I think I’ll do that. Especially now that Ive got a foot in the door with starting to write it. I’m eating dinner now anyways so I think that’s a good place to do it. And yk it’s an email I don’t need to worry about opening hours like with phone calls.

IM DONE!!! I SENT IT!! THANK GOD😭 And tbh considering the amount of stress I was under it was still not a bad email. Sometimes I just send the first thing I can put to words in these situations and it’s a bit rough lol but this one was actually fairly decent.

The momentum of starting made it easier the more I wrote. And after a point I just was able to start writing again by simply ignoring my fears I guess. It’s somewhat difficult to do that sometimes lol but it does work.

Yaaay🥳 Thank you for the help btw just talking it out definitely was helpful. Sometimes I feel so silly that stuff like this takes me like 13 hours to do lol. It’s good to have people relate lmao.

Me too it’s such a relief lol. I have other stuff I gotta do related to this but they shouldn’t be as stressful as emails are lol.
