everyone is different! idk if u are or not, but having a late diagnosis can mean that they have their life perfecting their mask to the point that everyone around denies their autism. & other factors like abuse when traits appear so they have it hidden very carefully in response to that trauma. at least that’s my experience bc ik im very NT seeming due to how strong of a hold i have on my mask unless im severely overwhelmed. i just tell ppl if only they saw me when im alone and can be myself😅
