Is it just me or does water (from a faucet) sometimes have a weird, strong (chemically) smell? I was always sensitive to stimuli but it got enhanced post covid.

I’ve read that people with ADHD have enhanced smell and taste and such, because the scent that neurotypicals adjust to, and eventually find normal so they block out. We DONT. Hence the overstimulation.

I had parosmia (EVERYTHING tasted and smelled like chemicals) for like 6 months after having covid cause it damaged my olfactory bulb and now I’m SO sensitive to the way everything tastes and smells

Hmm. Idk abt this. I’d research it more, it’s probably just a sensory thing.

Weirdly enough it’s a thing with the trigeminal nerve (I did some googling), was just curious if anyone else experienced this
