Quick vent: there’s an autistic boy in my class who acts very entitled. He always has to be first in everything and he just does not care about boundaries or the people around him. As an autistic woman it aggravates me. Am I wrong to be annoyed by this?

I don’t think so! I struggle with this with my own best friend. I call it “we tism in different directions” I go left and she goes right. The way she tisms sometimes annoys me and the way I tism sometimes annoys her. You’re completely valid in how you’re feeling! :)

It’s not wrong to feel annoyed. I’ve had a personal experience like yours. Explanation doesn’t equal excuse. You can understand why someone is behaving the way they are and still be bothered.

As a fellow autism enjoyer, I would be super annoyed by this.
