Thoughts on being "the prettiest girl Ive ever seen"?

i’ve always liked “i think you’re so beautiful” or “you’re my favorite person to look at” because it emphasizes that the beauty someone finds in me is subjective. the statement of beauty as an objective fact that can be argued against is kinda icky, because, as stated, even outside insecurity it just isn’t true 😵‍💫

At the end of the day, there’s plenty of stupid complements out there, and it maybe it’s a bit possessive, but there’s only one girl I get to call mine.

For me I never understood compliments on features you can’t control. Like. You like my eyes? My nose or something??? Gee thanks that means nothing to me
