My parents hid it from me until after I could legally drink and continued not to tell me despite me admitting to using drugs to make life bearable

I took a psychology class my freshman year of college and realized how many symptoms I’ve been having my whole life with ADHD, I texted my mom the day I realized and she said “oh yeah, you’ve had the diagnosis for the condition that typically leads to ADHD since you were 5.”
