My Mom’s convinced that I don’t have it bc I got tested for ASD when I got diagnosed with ADHD when I was like 9 and it came back negative, but that was a long time ago and I know that ADHD could mask some of the symptoms of ASD, but I don’t wanna act like I have something that I don’t have ;;

There’s a whole lot of overlapping symptoms with all three of those so that makes sense. The doctors literally told my sister that they can’t figure out if she has adhd or not because the cptsd is so similar😭

I KNOWWWWWW that’s what’s driving me crazy. And I can’t go get evaluated rn bc my doctor says that testing availability is low rn 😭😭😭

I literally had my mom dig around in her records to get my new psychiatrist my childhood adhd diagnosis rather than get tested again. Cause like the waiting time would’ve been MONTHS. So that makes sense sadly😔
