Like this special interest is part of the reason I was diagnosed with autism. I was telling my pediatrician about it as a kid and he asked if my parents had seen a professional about my interest in it. I got a degree in molecular biology because of it. It’s like a MAJOR and SUPER long lasting interest. I know my dad doesn’t care about biology but learned about this to connect with me.
