As someone who is about to fail out of college due to stress and burn out, I wish my mom would do something like this instead of telling me that i shouldn’t have goofed off and should’ve been busting my ass to study

This is what I love about being a sped teacher. I get to highlight all the good and all the potential in my students rather than just grades. I get to show real progress on their individual goals and I get to say more kind things than negative every time
