I hate getting weird looks from kids parents in the Lego aisle as if some of them aren’t literally made for adults

My bf and I always go to the toys aisle when we go to Walmart. He looks at transformers and I look at squishmallow and puzzles. And then we both look at legos.

I love looking at the Squishmallows and diy kits. My friend and I recently went to Target and bought a rainbow loom bracelet kit that has cute little charms and beads

Do not tempt me. I will try every toy in the toy aisle that has a demo function if left to my own devices long enough. My whimsy is uncontainable

I’ll sometimes walk in circles waiting for a family to leave the toys aisle I wanted to look at. Both because I don’t like encountering strangers in stores but also because I feel like a secondary target for the toy aisle, kids being the first. Same reason I’ll wait until the end of a beginning of elementary school block party to get free ice cream truck ice cream. I don’t want to be perceived AND I know the ice cream is Intended for the kids

The family hosting the party and the ice cream truck driver are always chill though. I sometimes wonder if they let me get some because I live just a few houses down and have to listen to the music and have the road blocked for a couple hours…
